I’m getting ready to head to Global Scrum Gathering Denver + Beyond this weekend. I’m excited (+nervous) to be heading to my 1st In-Person event in over 2 years. Anu & I will be presenting/involved in a couple of sessions – Yup – we’re back in person again as Team KatAnu!
The Scrum Alliance Scrum Gatherings are the events where I get a lot of my ideas, energy & enthusiasm from! It allows me to connect with other Agilists from all over the world and this time, there’s the opportunity to join in-person or virtually!
Let us know if you’re joining the event online or in person as it would be great to connect!
Mon Jun 06, 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM MDT – Stepping Stones to Leadership Agility – Global Scrum Gathering Denver + Beyond (In-Person Session)
Moore’s Law suggests that technology will double every couple of years and this, in turn, impacts organizations and leaders worldwide. Rapid changes, globalization, and a recent pandemic have clarified that all businesses are rapidly becoming more complex and intertwined.
These businesses need leaders who have the ability to pivot with the times and successfully lead people and organizations in a VUCA world – Leadership Agility!
What is a VUCA world?
What is Leadership Agility?
Why is this becoming more important in these times?
How can we identify, measure and grow our own leadership agility?
Having trained a lot of Live Online Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) classes over the past few years, we’ve seen multiple leadership transitions and this hands-on session will allow us to explore the different levels of leadership Agility and the Mindset Shifts that are essential to improve Leadership Agility!
Tue Jun 07, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM MDT – ROCKING Remote Retrospectives – Global Scrum Gathering Denver + Beyond (Virtual Session)
Even before the pandemic, multiple teams struggled to conduct retrospectives. However, the remote working environment has added another level of complexity and even less engagement than before!
Let’s explore techniques we can use to have Rocking Remote Retrospectives! Imagine being able to say, “That was an awesome retrospective” and leave with one actionable thing the team has identified they will do differently going forward.
As anyone who has attended any of my classes knows, I am passionate about retrospectives! The past 2 years of Live Virtual training have allowed me to experiment with multiple different formats and I’m excited to continue to share my passion for retrospectives with this session!
